Orderline answers your phone when you can't, takes the order, booking or quote, reads it back and sends it to you. When it isn't sure, it takes a message.
Free to set up and test. No card. No lock-in contract.
Written examples of how Orderline handles calls.
Started and built in Melbourne by Nikhil Gogulwar. You deal with the person who built it.
Orders, caller details and call recordings are stored in Australia.
Every business is walled off from every other, and we test that it stays that way.
Callers can ask for a person at any time. You can reach us by phone.
Try it on your own phone
Call our sample bakery and order like a customer. Mumble, change your mind, ask about nuts, ask for a person. Then decide.
Real calls are messy
Accents, mumbling, changes of mind, allergy questions and "can I talk to someone". Here is what it does with each.
Caller: "Actually make it one sourdough, not two."
It updates the order and reads the whole thing back again before anything is sent.
Caller: "Do the tarts have nuts?"
It only repeats what you told us about that item. If you told us nothing, it takes a message for you to call back.
Caller: "Sorry, say that again?"
It asks again in different words, and spells out numbers and addresses. If it still isn't sure, it takes a message.
Caller: "Can I just talk to someone?"
It passes the call to your hand-over number, or takes a message and texts you straight away.
How it works
Free. A text code to your mobile. No card.
Orderline calls you and goes through your hours, areas and how you work. Send your menu or product list as a photo or spreadsheet. It never guesses.
Ring it and order like a customer. Our team also checks it with practice calls.
Choose a plan, then forward your number when you are busy, closed, or always.
Works with your system
Orderline runs on Universal Bench, our own connection platform. That means it doesn't stop at a text message: it can put the order straight into your till, your ordering platform, your booking app or your job software.
If your system can connect to other software (most modern ones can), connecting it is part of setup. If it can't, orders come to you by text, email or a printed docket. Tell us what you use and we'll confirm before you pay anything.
You stay in control
Orderline works from your menu, your prices and your rules. You can see and change everything.
Prices, call-out fees, times, or just "the owner will quote on site". Bookings and big orders can wait for your yes.
Suburb, budget, timeline: whatever you need before a site visit, so you only see serious jobs. Sold out, closed or pause in one tap.
Every call is recorded for you, with what was said written out.
Most owners forward only when they are busy or miss the call.
If Orderline ever can't answer, calls go to your mobile and we text you.
If an order can't reach you, the caller is told you will call back.

Who is behind it
Orderline was started and built by Nikhil Gogulwar in Melbourne. Before writing software, he spent more than ten years in deliveries and warehouses, and saw how often an order goes wrong somewhere between a phone call and a shelf. Orderline is built around that: every order read back, every yes recorded, nothing guessed.
Paul, who runs food and wholesale businesses in Melbourne, is an early investor and helps shape how it takes real orders.
You deal with the person who built it,.
Call or text 0485 082 082 or email . Orderline is a product of Universal Bench, ABN 41 123 816 431.
Questions owners ask
Some will prefer a person, so your phone can ring first and Orderline only picks up when you are busy, closed or miss it. Any caller can ask for a person at any time.
It reads back the items, the total and the time, and the caller says yes to each. If it is unsure at any point, it takes a message instead. You can hear every call, and if something went wrong, tell us and we fix it and test it again.
If your system can connect to other software, we connect it during setup, at no extra cost. If it can't, orders come by text, email or a printed docket. Tell us what you use and we confirm before you pay anything.
No. Setting up and testing is free with no card. Pay as you go has no monthly fee at all, and the Steady plan is month to month. You can stop forwarding your number at any time.
About 15 to 25 minutes on the phone, depending on your menu or services. Bigger product lists are best uploaded as a file.
You do. They are stored in Australia, only your business and our support team can access them, and we never sell them.
Set it up free, ring it yourself, and only pay when you are happy it sounds right.
